From Morehead City, NC, United States to Lagos, Portugal.
May 2020 to June 2020.
Currently looking for 2 crew members for the ARC Europe 2020 Rally. We will depart from Morehead City, NC to Bermuda (optional leg), joining the rally in Bermuda. We will enjoy Bermuda while we wait for the Rally to arrive. The next leg is from Bermuda to the Azores, a cruise thru the Azores, then the final leg to Lagos, Portugal. Timing of departure is first week of May 2020 - Arrival in Lagos third week of June 2020 – more information about cruise itinerary is provided on ARC Europe 2020 Rally website. This is a US Registered boat, but we will be cruising in Europe/Mediterranean until November 2021. Our boat is a comfortable 44’ mono-hull Catalina-Morgan 440 (more details included on the Boat Description on Profile). It is equipped to meet /exceed all safety standards and requirements. Offshore experience is preferred (Please provide # of offshore miles as well as days at sea). Should be able to take the watch confidently, competently steer a course. Some formal Sailing qualification is preferable but not required, eg. ASA certifications/RYA. Non-smokers only. Crew members will be sharing a room, but separate sleeping areas. Transportation costs to and from the starting and ending locations will be paid by the crew. You are requested to pay Rally Crew Fee (375£), but we are willing to refund this fee after successful of the completion of the rally. Basic Provisions will be provided on board. Each individual will be responsible for spending money while in port. We are not bilingual, so crew must be able to speak working English. Sweet Caroline will be arriving in Morehead City around the second week of April if you are available for pre-voyage planning and preparations.
