From Nanny Cay, Virgin Islands - British to Lagos, Portugal.

May 2016 to June 2016.

Ximera sailed from Majorca to Gibraltar to Canaries to Cape Verde to Barbados to St Lucia in November and December 2015. She will leave here in Mid April for a charter at the Antigua race week at the end of April and then straight to the BVIs ready for the start of ARC Europe. First leg is to Bermuda - 840nm/5days. Second leg to Azores - 1,800nm/12days. Third leg to Lagos, Portugal - 950nm/6days. The boat operates in a very laid back and easy going way but the Skipper and 1st mate are both professionals, cruising instructors and take safety very seriously. Crew roles: All the people share all the duties on a rotational basis. Standing watch, cooking, cleaning, maintenance etc. The skipper and first mate are very adept at working out strengths and weaknesses (unless you just want to be up front about it!?) and will try to work the duties around them.

Money: expenses shared equally

Travel to and from boat: crew pays
