Scott Forsyth wants 2 crew for Cooktown Orchid, Oyster 406, 12.34m.
From Rostock, Germany to Kalmar, Sweden.
July 2017 to August 2017.
We are looking for crew to join us (we are a husband and wife couple) for all of or specific legs of the ARC Baltic 2017 and the passages from the UK to the Baltic Sea and return. The outbound passage will be from the East Coast UK to Rostock in Germany in late May/early June via the Dutch and German coasts then through the Kiel Canal to Rostock which is the starting point for the 6 week ARC Baltic rally. The ARC Baltic departs on 10 July and visits Bornholm, Denmark, Visby, Sweden, Tallin, Estonia, St Petersberg, Russia and then returns more leisurely via Helsinki, Finland , Mariehamm, Aland, Stockholm, Sweden exploring the Finnish and Swedish archipelagos and finishing in Kalmar, Sweden on 20 August. We plan to return to the UK by the end of September. The individual rally legs are between one and two days sailing then with time to explore ashore. The focus of the ARC Baltic is the culture and history of the region and the beauty of the Swedish and Finnish archipelagos. Certain guided tours are included in the rally crew fee.
