Crew roles: Arrayan 2 is a powerful boat which has been adapted to short crew sailing. 2 of the coffee grinders have been replaced by electrified winches. Main is full battened and Genoa is on roller. I do own this boat since 25 years and she has been always maintained to highest level. In 2014 we got line honor in ARC cruising division. Crew is composed of same family members, myself, my wife, my 31 years old son, and his father in law, and we will be sailing in a real cruising spirit, looking for a nice time at sea on a most beautiful, fast and very confortable sailing boat. Although Arrayan is easily sailed she nevertheless needs people avoiding big mistakes which could be complicated to solve (main sail is 130 Sq meters, heavy Genoa 170 and spinnaker in the 400 …) This is why I am looking for people having some experience at sea. No champions or top racing guys, but people having what we call in French 'bon sens marin" (Sailing feelings ?) and respect for the boat. So I and my wife could really sleep when off-watch ! A look to the blog will give you an idea of the way we sail and how Arrayan 2 does look. French, English and Spanish are spoken by everyone on board. All expenses regarding boat are mines. Crew take care of own travels to and from boat. Food and drinks are share equally.

Money: daily contribution from crew $30-40€ per day

Travel to and from boat: crew pays
