[ Cancelled ] ARC+ 2017: Two cremembers that can handle children Spain to Saint Lucia ref 6990

Peder Sunde wants 2 crew for Lily, Najad 440, 13m.

From Las Palmas, Spain to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.

November 2017 to November 2017.

We are a family of 5 looking for someone to join us on the ARC+ 2017. We have 3 children aged 5, 7 and 10 at time of departure. The ability and patience to handle children at close quarters is as valued as standing a watch and cooking the dinner. For the sanity of all, the persons joining us must be patience and happy to be around a family of 5 with all its trials and tribulations. In terms of space, Lily is a traditional boat with less interior room than your average new-build of the same size. Accommodation is therefore more restrictive. But we will ensure "your own bunk and locker". A good match would be a couple with sailing experience and a fondness for children. Can-do attitude and positive thinking is a requirement. Experience from off-shore sailing is important. A "get to know each other" sail would be required to make sure new and old crew can work together. This is likely in the Irish Sea during July 2017. Alternatively from Falmouth via Brest to La Coruna at the end of July. The family )is bilingual - English (wife) and Norwegian (husband. We live and work in Norway. We will not charge for this, but expect each crewmember to carry traveling costs and to cover their own food and drink.
