LV Yachting wants 6 crew for Rocket Dog, Beneteau First 40, 12m.

From Gran Canaria, Spain to Rodney Bay, St Lucia, Saint Lucia.

November 2015 to December 2015.

Southern Child is a well known professionally run Beneteaul First 40 looking for crew for the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. The ARC starts on November 22nd from Las Palmas, on Southern Child we expect the passage to take 15 to 18 days to cross the 2800nm to St Lucia. There will be 2 professional crew onboard to ensure your safety and enjoyment on this once in a lifetime TransAtlantic passage. Before departure the crew will go through comprehensive safety and boat briefing to help all crew get familiarised with the yacht prior to departure. Southern Child is an MCA coded yacht and will have a professional Yachtmaster Ocean Skipper. She is fully race prepared and has a complete inventory of safety equipment including life rafts, EPIRB, Satphone and medical supplies. The price is all inclusive of ARC race entry, food, crew shirts, training and all pre ARC parties.

Crew roles: We prefer crew to have experienced some offshore sailing so they know what to expect but you do not need to be an expert. There is a professional skipper aboard enabling you to enjoy the experience, confident that you are in safe hands. All crew will be fully involved in sailing the yacht, helping, trimming sails and navigation.

Money: voyage cost $3000
