[ Cancelled ] ANTARES PACIFIC CROSSING Panama to New Zealand ref 8906

Ken Montgomery wants 3 crew for Antares II, LAVRANOS 58, 18m.

From SHELTER BAY MARINA, Panama to OPUA, New Zealand.

June 2018 to October 2018.

The plan is to depart Panama in June 2018 and arrive at New Zealand end October 2018 with stops along the way for r&r. The boat is made from aluminium and therefore light and if there is enough wind she makes a fast passage, but because she is big she can be a handful in a blow when things go wrong. A positive attitude rather than experience is the main criteria for the trip to be successful. Keel boat experience offshore with a few overnights is essential. Desirable crew attributes: clean, tidy, safety conscious, team player, skilled in something useful onboard, mindful of others privacy, willing to get stuck in, likes happy hour. No smokers, religious nutters and evangelists, know-alls, experts, bullsh*tters, loud types, wimps, moaners, negative attitude, mental health issues, drug-users, sea-sickness issues, vegans are required. Younger crew are preferred as are people in good physical shape that exercise regularly and are not overweight, one at least must be female (raises personal standards onboard), my boat isn't fitted out for people with mobility issues.
