The race starts from Athens a d sails to the island of Andros some 70 odd miles from Athens. It is one of the most prestigious races of Greece. We stay in Andros for two days, eventually one inshore race, before starting to return without racing. This race is nicknamed “the toughest race”, as gale force winds are expected 2/3 of the distance into the race Androsrace.com/en/

Crew roles: We need seaworthy crew, that does not get seasick, can handle gale force winds, rough seas beating against the wind, spinnaker surfing at night. Need bowman, mast trimmer, pit trimmer and sail trimmers. The race to andros is 72 miles, this year an inshore race about 10 miles the following day, and return to Athens on Sunday the 28th.
