wants 2 crew for Zephyr II, Bavaria, Cruiser, m.

From Aalesund, Norway to Rodney Bay, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines.

July 2026 to December 2026.

⛵ CREW WANTED – ARC 2026 | Norway → Caribbean aboard s/y Zephyr II Hi sailors, adventurers and good people, I’m Are from Ålesund, Norway, preparing s/y Zephyr II (Bavaria 46 Cruiser) for ARC 2026 and an Atlantic crossing from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia. I’m looking for 2 crew for parts of the journey south through Europe and possibly the ARC crossing itself. This is not a luxury charter or “TikTok sailing holiday”. The goal is proper seamanship, shared adventure and good people onboard. ⸻ THE BOAT Zephyr II is equipped for comfortable offshore cruising and long-term liveaboard life. Onboard equipment includes: • AIS + radar • Autopilot • EPIRB + PLB for watch crew • Starlink + satellite phone • Solar, hydrogenerator + watermaker • Offshore safety gear • New liferaft (2025) • New dinghy/outboard (2025) • Large fridge/freezer setup • Hot shower and 3 cabins Safety-first mindset onboard — without turning the boat into a military operation. ⸻ ABOUT US I’m 50 years old with about 1500 logged offshore miles. I’m not pretending to be a sailing guru, so I especially value crew with real passagemaking experience, calm personalities and practical seamanship. Also onboard is Fram — a friendly Rhodesian Ridgeback and full-time boat dog — so crew should genuinely like dogs. Relaxed atmosphere, no sailing ego. ⸻ ROUTE PLAN Ålesund → Amsterdam → Brest → La Coruña → Madeira → Las Palmas → Saint Lucia (ARC 2026) Departure: July 2026 Most legs after Norway involve overnight passages and offshore watches. ⸻ LIFE ONBOARD This is shared-life sailing — not captain/passengers. Everyone helps with: • Watches • Cooking • Cleaning • Mooring/anchoring No drugs onboard. No alcohol underway. ⸻ COSTS Boat expenses, ARC entry and safety equipment are covered by me. Crew normally share: • Food • Flights • Personal expenses • Some marina/fuel costs ⸻ If interested, send: • Age • Nationality • Sailing experience • Short intro • Which legs interest you Fair winds, Are Eide s/y Zephyr II Ålesund, Norway
