[ closed ] Aegean Cruising Greece to Greece ref 12978

wants 2 crew for Coconut, 1991 Hallberg Rassy 36, m.

From Preveza, Greece to Leros, Greece.

July 2021 to January 2022.

I'm cruising the Aegean for the summer on my sailing yacht Coconut, a 1991 Hallberg Rassy 36 (you can catch up on my instagram @mateobmc). She's well outfitted for exploring the islands (and tavernas) in Greece and comes with all the comfort and class you would expect from this Swedish gem. This is my first season on this boat and I'm excited to see where she will take me. I'm a 40 year old beer maker and engineer from San Francisco who's been sailing for years with a few thousand miles of experience under my belt both coastal and ocean and I also have my RYA Yachtmaster Offshore ticket. The boat can easily be sailed solo, but it would be nice to have some help tying dock lines and weighing anchor. I've got a loose itinerary and hope to discover some fun places before I haul the boat out for the winter in Leros around the end of September. I have friends coming and going throughout the trip but there are some stretched where the boat is empty and I'd like to meet some fun new sailors to come along for the journey. Little to no experience is required, but knowing how to tie a bowline, a cleat hitch and a clove hitch really does help :) Your bunk is free, but of course we all share in expenses for food and drink. I'm pretty flexible on how we stock the boat. Interested?
