1000 Mile Sail! Who would be interested in being part of the 1000 mile sailing club? This would be an intense 8-day sail, 24-hours non-stop sailing adventure! This is as close as we can get to crossing the ocean without actually doing it. This trip will take us from West Palm Beach to around New York City- Sail past the Statue of Liberty anyone? We will still be following the coast so we can always go to the ICW if bad weather comes up. Estimated start of the trip April 29th. I checked on average temperatures, starting out in the mid to upper 70’s for West Palm Beach and water temperatures should not get any colder than 60 all the way to NYC so it should be very pleasant.
