Description

Zephyr II is a well-equipped Bavaria 46 Cruiser set up for comfortable and self-sufficient offshore cruising. She has 3 cabins, 2 heads, a spacious salon and a practical galley with good storage and refrigeration capacity. Navigation and safety equipment include Raymarine plotter/radar, AIS, autopilot, VHF, EPIRB, PLB for watch crew, offshore liferaft (new 2025) and Starlink. Energy systems include solar, lithium batteries, hydrogenerator and watermaker for extended time off-grid. Additional equipment includes bow thruster, electric windlasses fore and aft, Rocna 33 anchor with 100m chain, Webasto diesel heating, dinghy and outboard (new 2025).

Additional details

Zephyr II is sailed as a relaxed but serious cruising boat where safety, teamwork and good atmosphere onboard are important. A Rhodesian Ridgeback dog (Fram) is also part of the crew, so applicants should be comfortable with dogs onboard. Ideal crew are easygoing, practical and social people who enjoy seamanship, adventure, offshore passages, and life at sea.
