Description

Amelie is equipped as a blue ocean sailor, the rig is strengthened and she has plenty of electronic. 5 cabin + 3 toilets + large salong. Amelie is equipped with twin-wheel steering, rolling genoa and in-mast furling mainsail, both sails new in 2018. Bow truster. She also includes full teak cockpit, chart plotter and other equipment as detailed below. There is an inflatable dinghy, 10 feet, with outboard 6 hp to help you get ashore if you anchor-off or simply to allow you to explore. Amelie is equipped with a Spade anchor, probably the best anchor ever made. Instrumentation includes twin binnacle compasses, in the cockpit and a B&G autopilot, B&G Vulcan 9 chart plotter with Simrad radar, B&G forward scan, B&G Vind instrument. All new this year. Three different GPS which one is situated in the captain’s cabin allowing for safe sleeping at anchor, Radar, AIS, DSC VHF radio at the chart table + 2 hand held VHF, 2 EPIRB, Charts and pilot guides. In addition, not to forget, a 10 man Zodiac Open Ocean life raft. You will also find a CD/radio player with speakers in the main cabin. Together with a large DVD collection, there is a 12 volt television screen.

Additional details

In the 2020 season Amelie will be on Sardinia, to my mind the most, and best, sailing ground in the Mediterranean. In the beginning of the second week in September Amelie are once more heading to the Caribbean, the voyage from Sardinia are open for charter, very affordable price for those who interested to do the voyage towards Gibraltar visiting places like Menorca, Mallorca,Ibiza, Alicante, In the winter 2020/21 there will be possible to charter Amelie with or without captain in the Caribbean. There are 3 vacancy for those of you that would like to participate on the famous regatta across the Atlantic (ARC+) From Canary Island, Cap Verde, to St. Vincent . We sail on shared expenses, I believe all in all for a 4-5 week crossing included food somewhere in the range of 3500 € , regatta fee, insurance, food, fuel is included.
