I designed Shaima's interior and equipment for worldwide navigation, aesthetics and confort. Shaima has hydraulic davits that carry a 15" aluminum bottom dinghy for 9 people. Fully hydraulic furling sails and outhaul. Electric winches. Fully equiped electronically speaking. 1350 watts of solar panels. Hardtop and cockpit enclosure are lightweight yet sturdy (intact after Irma in BVI). Shaima is going through some added refits to make her suitable for High Latitudes sailing and is advised by experts in this kind of navigation. Shaima will be 2 years old soon and will have sailed over 10,000 miles by that time, always been skippered by its current owner.
