Description
I purchased Sea Candy, a Malo 42 built in 1998, in Feb 2017 in the UK, and following a comprehensive update for electronics and rigging joined the ARC in November that year. The Malo is a traditional swedish design, relatively heavy, stable and comfortable at sea.
In the Caribbean we added a bimini, solar power and an inverter, and removed the defunct Fischer Panda generator. The water maker covers daily needs.
