Hanse 531

DescriptionThe Hanse 531 was built when Michael Schmidt owned Hanse and was one of there showcase yachts built strong light and stiff with expensive epoxy and stiffening rods in the hull - productions yachts aren\'t made this way and now days you won\'t find yachts these strong and light as modern production yachts are made to a budget. The yacht provides the ideal blend of cruising comfort and lively performance with a long waterline length, an excellent turn of speed, very good at pointing and a wide broad beam ensures that she is stiffer and more stable than many yachts of comparable size. This translates to better performance, more power and less bouncing around. Her beam also ensures that there is ample room below for all of the luxuries that the modern yachtsman has come to expect. Our experience in the charter industry has also shown that a yacht in to 50-60ft size bracket provides the ideal mix of intimacy while still affording a good degree of personal space and privacy. The large, open plan saloon is light, airy area, offering a good social environment. The yacht is fully coded by the Marine Coastguard Agency in their very stringent offshore racing category. The yacht is geared up for international offshore racing category 1 specification (RORC Cat.1) We supply all safety equipment such and include wet weather gear. |
