Description

Spanish solid sharp yacht 1986 refit with major improvements in 2015. This year, now I am taking her for a trip of one year around North Atlantic visiting the Caribbean. We left in September, 2015 and will come back in a year. The below itinerary is with absolutely no level of commitment as I need to research it more and am open for suggestions. Netherlands, England (where we are now on 2015-09-17), France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Canaries, Cape Verde, Tobago, St Vincent & Grenadines, St Lucia, St Maarten, Bermuda, Azores, Portugal, Netherlands. I installed AIS, dive compressor, solar panel, wind generator, ham radio, spray hood, and diesel heater. Improvements that are also done: wind vane and electrical steering, standing rigging replacement and insulation for use by ham radio grabbing weather reports. Also done: underwater ship repairs and antifouling, all teak replaced, all acryl windows replaced, ‘energy frame’ installed, life boat serviced, small engine for dinghy bought, all outside nav lights and interiors replaced by LEDs. Installed new shore power inverter and a new 230 V invertor (500 W) for charging our devices. New VHF transceivers (3x). Added 2 electrical pumps, 90 meters SS anchor chain and one PLB ACR ResQLink. She does not have a shower, hot water, nor a water maker yet. There are two cabins and the main cabin can sleep two people as well easily.
