Description

Longbow of Itchen is a Bowman 48, built in 1998. I am her 3rd owner and purchased her in May 2019, she has had all new standing rigging, new main sails and a significant refit of many other parts and electronics over the last two years Due to Covid restrictions I spent the 2021 season doing some RORC 2 handed racing and cruising on the UK South and east coasts , logging approximately 2500 miles sailing She has 3 cabins plus the main saloon with twin single berths in one aft cabin, double berths in the other aft cabin and master cabin plus a single saloon berth in the main cabin. Two heads with showers plus water maker, new 5 Kw generator, electric primary winches plus two coach roof electric winches. A fully battened main with single line reefing makes reefing from cockpit simple & safe . For downwind sailing have a large Genaker on a Harken top down furler
