Description

Irondequoit II is a fully renovated 1940 wooden yawl. It's gone through major restorations and replanking between 2000 and 2004. We are preparing for a circumnavigation, or at least a long trip, starting 2015. John Alden designed IRONDEQUOIT II in 1940 and she was built and launched by George Lawley & Son the same year. Irondequoit II is a powerful, easily driven yacht that has proven herself in the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta. Regates Royales in Cannes, Les Voiles de St Tropez, Vele d’Epoca di Imperia, and Porto Rotondo. She has flush decks forward and a small house aft, with a comfortable cockpit well aft. She is a Bermudan yawl rig with a new 4 ft Oregon pine bowsprit.

Additional details

After we acquired her we gave her a good paint job and did some other needed jobs, while we lived on board. We will leave this Summer to start enjoying her full potential of her showing us the World.
