Description

S/y Eira is a sturdy ocean passage maker that can easily house large crews because her alternative 1 layout (see homepage). She has done 90.000 miles during her time in our service and has recently gone through many improvements including new sails (2021), complete refit for engine (2020) and generator (2020) among other. She has done 6 ARC races and 12 Atlantic crossings during the last decade and in 2023 she is to go again and is ready to take on eager sailors. The boat is coded accordingly and skipper carry all necessary tickets and has been running her for over fourteen years. In autumn 2024 we are leaving for an Atlantic round trip beginning in Lagos and taking us down to the Caribbean and back. The trip is divided into several legs open for crew. Additional details

Swan 51 Eira is the hull nr 009 and is extensively equipped for ocean passage making and racing. She carries a complete setup of safety and other aids both for crew and in general. She has also been regularly hauled out for inspections and refits to maintain her in a good working condition. The winter 2022 - 2023 she is hauled out in Finland and is going through a extensive check before leaving in the summer for warmer climates.
