Description

It's a light boat that does very well in lighter winds so I'm always looking for nice weather. I do find myself in 20-35 knots of wind about half the time though with seas in the 8-14' range and she does fine just not as fast as heavier boats would in those conditions. I don't see anymore of those conditions in my future for a few years.

Additional details

Just about everything on the boat is new or fairly new including the standing rigging, steering cables and life-lines. I've replaced everything except the mast, rudder and keel and I hope I don't have to replace those anytime soon :) About the oldest thing on the boat is the sails which were replaced in 2008 (main has 3,000 miles and jib about 4,500 miles) so they should be good for another 5 years with the sailing I have in mind. It has 400 watts of solar and a strong but quiet wind generator with a diesel generator as backup, so electricity is never a problem. other items of interest: --radar --autopilot --AIS --15 HP outboard and 9' RIB --dinghy davits --3/4 cockpit enclosure for rough passages (got tired of getting soaked)
