Description

Delite is a 2012 Wauquiez 47 Pilot Saloon. We have owned her since 2018 and our plan was to fit her out for a Circumnavigation and signed up for the ARC plus in 2020. Due to Covid restrictions, like many others, we opted to defer the crossing until 2021. We have cruised down Spain from France and have spent the last year in Gibraltar getting ready for the crossing. The boat has all the creature comforts you would expect from Wauquiez, including air conditioning, 3 fridges/freezers, electric winches, roller furling and touch button sailing. We have 2 spare bunks (a double and a bunk bed) with a separate heads. We are looking for 1 or 2 crew mates to cross the Atlantic with us or just sail down to the Canaries from Gibraltar where we are berthed. You will have ocean miles under your belt or several years of coastal experience and must be capable of standing watch alone. We prefer non smokers. The cost to you would be the ARC joining fee which is about £225, any personal travel or medical costs joining and leaving the boat and your expenses whilst on shore.
