Description

Corryvreckan II was bought in 2022 to begin and complete a circumnavigation. It is fully equipped with all the necessary items required to sail across oceans safely and comfortably. It has four double cabins, two heads, separate fridge and freezer. Installed is a 50 litre per hour water maker, solar, wind and water generators, AIS and radar, chart plotters at the helm and navigation station.

Additional details

The boat is currently in Sri Lanka, having left St Martin in May 2022 and left in Trinidad in June 2022 for work to be completed on her before setting off for the Round the World trip. In January I left Trinidad and sailed to Grenada and back to check out all the work that had been completed to a high standard. In February I left with one crew to sail to Bonaire where two more crew joined. Next we visited Curacao and Aruba when one crew left. On to Panama where two more crew joined before going through the canal. Next stop was the Galapagos where one crew left and then on to the Marquesas, Tuamotus and Society Islands. Two crew departed in Tahiti before sailing to Bora Bora. The last of the crew left me in Bora Bora and I sailed solo on to Samoa, Thursday Island, Christmas Island and finally Sri Lanka.
