Description

Cinderella, a Jongert 20DS steel hulled ketch, completed a comprehensive renovation in 2024. She participated in the ARC 2024 to St Lucia and cruised the Caribbean throughout 2025. She boasts beautiful classic good looks. With a deep ballasted keel, a weight of 60 tonnes she is sea kindly, makes light of heavy weather, and comfortable for long journeys. Two guest cabins each with ensuite. Jongert built yachts as long haul, liveaboard vessels, "from the get go" to be comfortable and not turn you into a Grotty Yachtie. Water maker, fridges, freezers, washing machine, two generators, BBQ etc. There is utility air for the toys and a dive compressor to refill bottles. Cinderella has a pilothouse and separate cockpit with new hardtop and solar power, perfect for cruising in the hot or cold, plenty of space on deck for sunbathing and yoga. We carry seven sails, in-mast furling for the main and mizzen, hydraulic furling on the genoa and staysail, electric furler on the gennaker. Navigation: TZ Navigator with dedicated GPS, back-up GPS with plotter, RADAR, AIS, VHF. Starlink, and EPIRB. A Highfield tender with 20HP gets us into town and out exploring.

Additional details

Cinderella is currently in the San Blas and departing westwards. Looking for like minded people to share the adventure, the fun and costs. After transiting the canal in April we plan to visit Galapagos, Easter Island, the Gambier in French Polynesia. Continuing NW to the Marquesas. Join us for different legs of the journey from the Galapagos.
