DescriptionOne-Off racing yacht designed for the Admiral's Cup, which she sailed three times: 1981, '83 and '85. Since then she has been cruising and racing Dutch and English waters. After an intensive refit in 2001 with new rigging, sails, instruments and paintjobs she left for the Med. In 2008 Caiman sailed the ARC to arrive in St. Lucia with lines honours in the IRC 2 class and has been cruising the Carribean waters since. At the moment Caiman is based on the island of Grenada. |
Additional detailsCaiman is top-rigged with a choice for racings or cruising sails with a furling genoa. With that comes multiple spinnakers, bloopers and staysails. The interior is still very basic with eight pipe benches and an open-sea toilet. Caiman has no autopilot. |
