Boomer was built in France to be a safe and comfortable world cruiser with a lot of comforts including 3 air conditioners, clothes washer, 2 heads with showers, watermaker, generator and 100 horsepower engine with 1000 mile range. She has 6 watertight compartments and a rudder mounted to a skeg, no Amel has ever lost a rudder in a storm. The deep center cockpit has a hard dodger (windshield) and one wheel. The lifelines are stainless steel all around.The prop shaft comes vertically to above waterline and can not let water in. There is a full galley with refrigerator and deep freezer. She is ketch rigged and electric winches and electric furling with manual backup. Unlimited data , email, text and 50 min/ mo. of voice worldwide. The Raymarine MFDs with AIS were new in 2016,one up top and one down at the nav station. The emergency life raft should arrive by the end of Oct. The Fiorentino storm drogue and para anchor are brand new.
