Description

Antia has been completely refit. We began by pulling the teak decks, fixing any suspect spots in the fiberglass, and new decks. We removed every stanchion, porthole, and hatch. We had them rebedded and, in some cases, the panes replaced. We pulled all through haul fittings and reseated. We replaced all the standing and running rigging, pulled the mast, rebuilt the winches and the windlass, and painted the hull and deckhouse. We pulled the engine, replaced the motor mounts, and rehabbed it, adding a new generator and Raycor filter. We replaced all the electrical wiring and added all LED lights. We added a new in-line battery charger and six new batteries, and a completely new electrical panel. We replaced both heads and new cabinet tops. We rebuilt the raw water and freshwater pumps. We pulled the tanks and cleaned and replaced one. We completely rebuilt the cabin sole (teak/holly), pressure cleaned the bilges, and painted. We added an air conditioner for dockside service. We had all new bunk, salon, and cockpit cushions replaced. We refinished or replaced much of the interior teak. New galley equipment, including stove and countertops. New sails – Main, roller furling genoa, and gennaker – have used storm jib. All tracks are adjusted. Lots of new safety equipment from an 8-man life raft to EPIRB, etc. New dock lines, Bimini top, and dodger. Solar panels on Bimini with 240 amps. All Raymarine integrated electronics, including an autopilot, sat nav, chart plotter, VHF, radar, wind gauges, and depth sounder. We have SAT Phone (and a portable one) as well as a very specialized WI-FI system. New stereo and speakers.
