Currently based in: Southampton, United Kingdom
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 4000 ocean miles / 8000 coastal miles
We have our own Moody 30 based on the UK South Coast, but prefer to sail in warmer climes and explore different coastlines and countries too. Both retired, Bob has skippered a number of boats including a 67ft Gaff rigged ketch and was 1st Mate on an Ocean Youth Trust circumnavigation in the 1990s. He also served on RNLI rescue boats for 30 years. I am due to take YM Offshore practical in September 2024. We both have first aid, radio and Bob was a power boat instructor. We crewed on a Lagoon 450 from Canaries to Grenada in January 2023, explored the Grenadines by ferry/air bnb then rejoined the Cat to crew from Grenada to St Lucia. Very keen to explore more of the Caribbean or further afield, we are both good cooks in heavy weather, stand night watches and happy to take direction and help with any tasks on board. Non smokers, light drinkers (alongside/ashore obviously) and no special diets. We have a wealth of good stories and are very happy to hear yours, and hopefully appear in future happy ones!
Smoking: non-smoker
Relationship status: partnered
