Stuart McIntosh, male, 64

Ref 47883

Nationality: United Kingdom
Currently based in: Cowes, United Kingdom
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 20000 ocean miles / 5000 coastal miles
I have just recently retired at a young 62 from a long career at sea firstly in the Merchant Navy as a navigating officer and Master, before transferring into superyachts world for 10 years and then finally a rewarding 22 years as Cowes Harbour Master and Chief Executive. I am now looking for opportunities to go cruising again as sailing has been my lifelong interest and passion from a keen dinghy sailor in my youth through owning, building and repairing my own boats over the years. In 2023, I had the opportunity of skippering a 24 metre motor aluminium explorer vessel for the summer and then managed and skippered the delivery of a Hinckley 52 from Cowes to Grenada via Lanzarote and Cape Verde islands. I am married to a teacher who is still working but is encouraging me to look for these opportunities until we can go sailing together. I am an experienced yachtsman and navigator, easy going, fit and a non smoker and I trust that I would be an asset and would complement your crew.
