New Zealander. Ex-University Lecturer in Sport and business owner (aviation/marketing/property). I have started my ‘never-ending gap year’. I simply want to sail from now on with good people. Have fun, make memories and enjoy the see and meeting new people. I’m a proud mother of 2 grown daughters. I am easygoing, positive, proactive, reliable, trustworthy, always with integrity. I am a team player, solutions focused, confident, considerate, nice and overall a good and kind person. I like to get out and give it a go. I’m financially able to fly to and from the boat. I follow instructions well, have cooked in 67-knot cyclone. I am fine doing watches on my own. I do not do drugs nor want to be on a boat where drugs are consumed. I am healthy and I do not drink much. Qualified - basic Ocean Medic, Advanced Ocean Survival ,VHS (NZ qualifications) ENG1, STCW BLUE water experience. 4800Nm NZ to Pacific & return in 1992 (Cavalier Mono 38'), 4,000Nm NZ to Tonga / Fji return in 2022 (Fountaine Cat 43'), 2023 5,000Nm Panamá via Galápagos to Tahiti, Cook Is, Samoa, Tonga (Lagoon Cat 50', Cat 40' and Mono 62') COASTAL experience - racing with RNZYS (10,000Nm). WHAT I AM AFTER - clear instructions, safety, a team, solutions-focused, positive, level-headed, fun on a calm boat, with a great captain, and crew. WhatsApp +6421683334 Email [email protected] | |
