Hi. My name is Peter. I am from New Zealand. September 2022 I purchased a Najad 441 in Greece on the Island of Aegina where I gave the yacht a good going over and upgraded most of the electronics and auto pilot along with new toilets, cooker and many other items to make sailing peaceful and easy. My sailing experience goes back to 1984 where I started on sailing dinghies and later onto racing yachts. This is my third yacht. The last one, a Bowman 49 I sailed from San Diego via Tahiti to New Zealand, New Zealand to Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Australia, New Zealand and may miles around New Zealand. I am well experienced and a safe sailor, dependable and trustworthy. Like most sailors I like the outdoors and nature especially the sea. Have sailed from Greece where I purchased the yacht. I have already sailed through the Mediterranean to Gibraltar and headed down the African coast to the Canary Islands then over the Atlantic to Barbados and Martinique and headed up the island chain. Since then I have sailed to the San Blas Islands then transited the Panama Canal and sailed across the Pacific to Hiva Oa and Huka Hiva and now am in Tahiti. My next part is to sail to Moorea, Bora Bora, across to Tonga for a good stay and around September 2024 to sail to New Zealand If you would like to join me please send me a message out lining who you are and your experience. Just a few points that I need to express. Only non smokers and no drugs of any sort. You will need to be present, not running from something. I know this sounds strange but I have had a crew with many problems that were not sorted out. Looking for happy well adjusted crew that know how to fit in. Peter | |
