| I am looking for Crew to join me on my Arcona 430, Arcturus, for a voyage from the Canaries to Portugal then Brittany. I’ve been a keen sailor for the last 30 years and owned five cruising/racing yachts over that time. I’ve clocked over 50,000 sea miles as Skipper from Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Holland, Belgium, U.K., France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Morocco to the Canaries where our yacht, Arcturus, an Arcona 430, is currently based. Sailing experience includes Skippering a 50 ft Beneteau from Guadeloupe to Antigua and a Lagoon 430 in Cuba as well as UK sailing on the North East coast and on the West coast of Scotland I've sailed UK/Canaries numerous times with stays in Southern Brittany, the Northern coast of Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia, the West and Southern Coasts of Portugal and the Algarve down to Cadiz. My wife and I have cruised thousands of miles. Our 'Greek Odyssey' in 2015/17 (Ionian, Gulf of Corinth, Peloponnese, Cyclades, Dodecanese) was over a two year period (two winters in Greece). Then from Corfu to Southern Italy, Sardinia, Aeolian Islands, Sardinia, Corsica cruising the Med during 2017/2019 with two winters at Toulon. We’ve visited the Northern and Western coasts of Morocco, explored Madeira and Porto Santo and visited most of the Canary Islands. After Covid we've spent time bringing Arcturus back to full readiness for longer passage making with our last ocean passage from Estepona to Lanzarote in October 2021.
