| Michael is an experienced sailor, having owned a 37ft Gibsea ‘Raider of Bosham’ out of Chichester Harbour, for many years. Michael also crewed on many RORC racing yachts, both inshore and offshore racing in UK/Europe & Australia. Michael was a Sunsail Flotilla skipper in Corsica/Sardinia for 6 months. Michael is an RYA qualified Coastal Skipper & has completed the RYA Yachtmaster practical syllabus. Michael undertook a 2,400 nautical mile Yachtmaster course with Rock Sailing, Gibraltar Sept-Dec 2021. His estimated Sailing nautical mileage to date would be approx:10,000. He is a member of Bosham Sailing Club (Chichester Harbour) & Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, Sydney. Michael would be an ideal crew member, or watch leader for the forthcoming ARC crossing from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia. He would be available from mid/late October 2023. | |
