I have owned two boats, a Hunter 31, and now a Gemini 105MC, completed my RYA Day Skipper class/certification, and my FCC GROL. After purchase, I sailed my current boat from Lake Champlain NY to Freeport Bahamas, sailing outside much of the trip with the exception of Norfolk VA to Morehead City NC, and 2 days in FL. I had one crew member with zero experience for half of the trip and I completed the other half solo. This and my week-long Day Skipper class constitute the vast majority of my sailing experience. I am very open to learning new techniques/skills and look forward to offshore passages. I have never been sea sick yet, knock on wood.
