Hello! Im John! Available and seeking miles. RYA Day/Comp Crew/VHF, coastal/tidal experience in UK, Europe, Caribbean as both skipper & crew. Ocean Las Palmas to Cape Verde as ARC 2023 crew. Safe, clean, organized, respectful, drama free, 🚠I am personable, kind, and humble. Keenly aware of the importance and seriousness of selecting an able, reliable individual for passages. Mature enough to respect authority, listen, learn, and know when to be silent. I can cook, am humorous, and can tell a story or two . Will contribute financially; I hold US & FR passports, have gear with me, and am insured. An atypical American originally from the US/East Coast, I've been living in The Netherlands for decades after completing graduate studies in Barcelona. I consider myself an adventurer in life, lived in six countries and speak several languages. I have two grown children equally as adventurous as I. I enjoy navigation, flexible on watches, controlled and measured while mooring. I can cook (moderately) and am handy enough to resolve mechanical problems. I am seeking a 1-3 month opportunity | |
