| Hi all! If you are on this site then, like me, you love sailing. I have been cruising and racing sailing boats almost as long as I have been walking. So let's just say I got my sea legs at a very early age. And an addiction to being on the water. I am also an avid windsurfer. I spent much of my time sailing the Great Lakes, Chesapeake Bay, and the Caribbean. Ocean experience includes Annapolis-Newport races. In March of 2021 I bought this big beautiful 2002 Grand Soleil Maxi One in Ravenna, Italy. Classic lines and I have always loved Bruce Farr designed boats. Kinda of a crazy time to be buying a boat so far from my home country with Covid restrictions affecting travel and all, especially considering that currently she is also my home. But she is a bit too big for single handed sailing so I need crew!! Currently Occhi Indaco is in port in Pula, Croatia. I will be sailing her south to Corfu, Greece at the end of March 2022. After that I will sail her out of the Mediterranean to the Canary Islands, passing by beautiful sailing areas such as Sicily, Sardinia, Majorca along the way. I am currently signed up for the 2022 ARC beginning 20 November and after arriving in St Lucia, I will begin sailing north through the Caribbean Islands.
