| Sailing since many years on Swiss lakes and occasionally chartering a Sailboat in summer vacations, we decided three years ago to live on a sailboat. Since then, we travelled about 6000 miles on our boat on the North Sea, Mediterranean and down to the Canary Islands. We are not in rush, it's more about living and working and learning in different places and different countries, learning to know the culture and the language than making a record number of miles. After some time in the south we're now heading back to colder climate. Normally, we travel as a family the three of us, but sometimes my wife does not join on longer or rough passages. Or while my daughter and me are comfortable to handle the boat alone, sometimes it's nice to have a helping hand. | |
