| Hi, I grew up racing Optis, Lasers, and 420s in Switzerland and across Europe. I lost touch with the sailing world a bit when moving to the US for college, but five years ago, while living in France I rediscovered the passion, this time sailing on yachts on the ocean. I have since gone for a week of cruising (mostly with Les Glenans in Bretagne), every year and also completed the Swiss offshore licensing exam for the ICC, for which I'm still completing the required miles. Between finishing up my MBA in Barcelona in April and starting work in New York, I want to dedicate some time to offshore sailing. I will join a VO65 crew for a delivery from Antigua to the Azores and would love to join another crew on a passage from Ponta Delgada in May. | |
