I was an avid dinghy sailor as a kid, but traded sailing for whitewater kayaking and wilderness canoeing in my young adulthood. I recently had the opportunity to crew aboard Helios in the 2021 Arc+ rally and the sailing bug bit me hard! I'm a great cook, easy to get along with, and I'm comfortable on night watch. I have a good understanding of boat electrical systems since they work very similarly to the off-grid solar power system I designed and installed at my remote cabin. I have completed ASA 104.
