I recently turned 50 but don't feel it! I've worked in health care for about 20 years both as a paramedic and as a health care emergency manager. About 6 years ago I started dreaming about purchasing a sailboat and casting off to explore the world - in November 2020 I started! I'm 5'6" about 150 lbs, non-smoker, no drugs, and social drinker. I consider myself old fashioned, a good communicator, sing really badly, adventurous, and all around decent person. I raced sailboats in Annapolis for about 4 years on a J80 and J105. Kluane is my first sailboat and I'm learning more about her each day. I have several coaches and mentors who have circumnavigated and provide ongoing support as I continue my journey. | |
