Bryony Young, female, 35

Ref 49241

Nationality: United Kingdom
Currently based in: Solent , United Kingdom
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 1000 ocean miles / 4000 coastal miles
I am looking for a professional and friendly boat for the ARC crossing in November and cruising opportunities worldwide on the thr ARC+. I am a friendly, hard working and bubbly personality. I enjoy working with young people and children and I have a great passion for the outdoors and watersports. I am a confident watch leader and 1st Mate for smaller yachts and I also have experience working on larger sail training and superyachts of 70ft and above. I am happy to work hard and undertake all daily chores of working on a vessel at sea.  Last year, I was very successful in gaining more experience, working as a Mate for Sunsail and volunteering with the Tall Ships Youth Trust. This has supported me with gaining more insight into the sailing industry and helped me to develop my skills on deck and with navigation / watch keeping. I have completed Yachtmaster training at UKSA and I have all my certificates up to date, including my ENG1 and STCW. Prior to covid, I spend a season on Kentra, a classic 30m william fife in Scotland and also a season in the Caribbean on a 30m superyacht. For both positions I was deck / stew and gained valuable experience into the industry. This also included an Atlantic crossing from the Canary islands. Please let me know if you would like to see my sailing CV. Thanks Bryony
