.Me and my wife are scientists, living and working in Manhattan, New York. We are sociable, fit and psychologically stable. We own the 1998 Able Apogee 50 and sail her around New England, most recently to Maine. During last few years we have joined several RYA courses and gained the Coastal Skipper license plus 600 ocean miles in North Atlantic. We are sufficiently skillful in handling the boat, have reasonable navigation skills , but not particularly good in fixing the broken engine or electric wiring. We are looking for a highly experienced captain, willing to share her/ his sailing knowledge, to sail on our boat from New York to Bermuda and back in June 2023. Our long term plans include sailing the boat to Europe in 2024 followed by cruising in Europe North in 2024-2025. We will cover all of the provision expenses and the service fees for the captain. | |
