Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 15000 ocean miles / 10000 coastal miles
I have been sailing for 40+ years on a wide range of racing and cruising boats. For 16 years we owned and successfully raced a J/105 in a highly competitive one-design fleet on San Francisco Bay. During this time, we spent most available vacations cruising in various chartered boats in places such as Tonga, French Polynesia, Greece and New England. When much younger, I had the opportunity to accrue over 10,000 sea miles on deliveries across the Atlantic, the Pacific and up the east coast of the US and I have always wanted to go back to sea. Now with my wife and 11 year old son both experienced sailors, we have been living aboard our new HR57 since June 2023. We picked her up in Sweden and brought her to the Caribbean with stops in many Northern European countries along the way. We are currently looking for two crew to help us take her up to New England in May, and we are planning to circumnavigate with the World ARC starting in January 2025.
