From Porstmouth, United Kingdom to La Coruna, Spain.

This season I will be sailing from Portsmouth down to the Canaries, and across to the Caribbean with the ARC+, then cruising around the Caribbean for the whole season until May 2019. I am looking for one crew member to join us leaving Portsmouth around 19th June heading along the south coast towards Plymouth, and then when we have a good weather window to cross Biscay down to the Spanish coast aiming for La Coruna 10-14 days later. There will be three crew on this leg, and there are two double cabins and berths in the saloon. Apart from reasonable crewing (or skippering) experience the most important factor is that we all get on and enjoy the trip, so we will have a minimum of a day sail from Portsmouth beforehand to ensure we gel as a crew. Costs will be shared equally. The boat is a well founded and equipped Bowman 42, she has crossed the Atlantic 6 times and I have spent the past year refitting her and replacing safety equipment to ensure everything is in top condition for the trip this year. For the right crew there will also be further opportunities to join us during later parts of the journey and in the Caribbean. Crew roles: You will be reasonably experienced crew (or skipper) having completed some ocean passages and will be a reliable watch keeper in all conditions. All crew will share in all jobs on-board required for the smooth running of the boat, including watch keeping, cooking, basic cleaning etc. The skipper will be responsible for navigation but crew participation is welcomed.

Money: expenses shared equally
