James Gardner wants 2 crew for INDY, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54DS, 16m.

From Las Palmas, Canary Islands to Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia.

November 2018 to December 2018.

Seeking crew for the 2018 ARC. Crew required to join 'Indy', a very well equipped and maintained Ocean going 54ft Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 54DS. I have skippered the ARC twice before and am an easy going Skipper with an engineering background. Looking for non-smokers with a good sense of humour. We plan to have a great time both onboard and ashore! Crew would be expected to join Indy on the 18th November , to allow time to have a day sailing to practice man overboard etc. and of course enjoy the atmosphere in the run up to the start on the 25th Indy will comfortably sleep 10 but the crew will be limited to six or possibly seven people as I have found that number works very well . Currently we have a crew of four experienced Yachtmasters and one competent crew , we are looking for another one or two crew, including one watchleader . You would have your own separate bunk, ( no hot bunking) two people sharing a cabin with own heads. Bedding and life-jackets will be provided . Indy is very well equipped and maintained ( I am an engineer) and we even have a water-maker .... so freshwater showers all the way ! Voyage cost will include all ARC fees mooring fees, boat insurance, safety equipment , diesel and food / water from 18th November to 18th December .... you basically just have to pay for anything when you are ashore, Preference will be given to people who sail a leg with me on the way there, We are currently in Spain on-route to Greece by August and then out to Gibraltar again by the end of October. Crew roles: Crew will be expected to assist with all aspects of work on passage, watch-keeping, cooking, cleaning etc and help provision the boat in Las Palmas. Crew must have their own personal travel insurance ( ARC Rules) and pre -booked travel arrangements from St Lucia
