The Rolex Middle Sea Race is an iconic endeavour, one of the great 600 mile offshore races that challenges the most experienced of crews. From completely still seas without a hint of a zephyr through to strong winds of over 35 knots, this race is possibly my favourite, it certainly helps when your marks are active volcanoes.
