April 2018 to May 2018.

Two RYA Yachtmaster instructors are heading across the Atlantic at the end of April/early May bound for Horta in the Azores. This is a great opportunity to gain sea miles and learn about ocean sailing from two experienced sailors. We are happy to share freely our knowledge and experience but this is not a training course. This is an owner crossing back to the UK. Crew will be expected to fully participate in sailing the yacht and sharing daily expenses. Crew roles: Crew will be involved in preparing and provisioning the yacht for the Atlantic crossing. They will be involved in meteorological planning, passage planning and all aspects of yacht sailing and maintenance. Each crew member will fully participate in a 24 hour watch system and will be responsible as watch leader, ships cook and for boat cleanliness. This is a great opportunity to experience an ocean Yachtmaster qualifying passage. Crew are responsible for their own transport to and from the yacht.

Money: daily contribution from crew $30
