[ Cancelled ] JOIN US! Panama – Galapagos & Galapagos – Marquesas Panama to French Polynesia ref 9235
From Colon, Panama to Hiva Oa or Nuku Hiva, French Polynesia.
April 2018 to June 2018.
In late April we will be crossing Panama Canal to Galapagos with Dean, a sailing friend from Sydney, staying in Galapagos approx 9-14th May. Dean will then leave and we will cross Galapagos to the Marquesas, mid-May for approx 4 weeks. We’re seeking an experienced sailor(s) to join us for one or both of these crossings, someone who is a warm, easy going, helpful person and comfortable doing night watches single-handed. We have in mind one person, but would also be happy to have a couple where both people fit this description. Mechanical and/or electrical experience on sailing yachts (e.g. Volvo Penta engine) would be a bonus. If possible, we'd like to meet up and sail together briefly before the crossing(s) to make sure we get along and are comfortable with each other’s approach to sailing. Smoking on board: non-smokers only
Total people on board: 4
Crew roles: Everyone aboard shares non-sailing jobs, mostly cooking. A small amount of cleaning to keep Tranquilo ship-shape.
Money: expenses shared equally
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
