[ Cancelled ] ARC North Atlantic / Europe Rally Virgin Islands - British to Portugal ref 9155
Peter Cronk wants 1 crew for Chat Eau Bleu, Lagoon 630, 19m.
From Nanny Cay, Virgin Islands - British to Lagos, Portugal.
January 2018 to January 2018.
My wife and I will have a 22 year old male relative with us. He has some cruising experience in Europe. We have one spare queen cabin with ensuite and could accommodate a single or couple. Whoever you must be prepared and be able to stand night watches and share in rostered cooking and cleaning. Some ocean experience would be good but not mandatory. We always keep safe but have a lot of fun. No special dietary requirements are best and easiest. We pay for ARC related fees (which includes some events and tours), fuel, marinas and repairs. the food costs are spread equally on the provisioning trips. Crew pays travel costs to and from the start and finish points and shore costs they incur.
What roles/experience are needed (Crew 1): does not matter
Sailing with a Rally: Independent
I'm looking for (gender): either
Cabins/Sleeping : own cabin-own bunk
Smoking on board: smoking allowed
Total people on board: 4
Crew roles: All crew are supervised and have good back up on their watches with duties and detailed explanations of what to look out for. We organise the watches for very good time off for sleep or recreation. Cooking shifts are easy and we plan a menu to suit everyone. The only boat maintenance we require is a help to clean upon arrival in port and keeping your own area (bathroom etc) clean.
Money: expenses shared equally
Travel to and from boat: crew pays
