[ Cancelled ] Mountaineering in ANTARCTICA Subantarctic & Southern Ocean Islands to Subantarctic & Southern Ocean Islands ref 9153

Selma Expeditions wants 2 crew for Selma Expeditions, Azueppe-Brenner (CM Merret), 20m.

From Ushuaia, Subantarctic & Southern Ocean Islands to Ushuaia, Subantarctic & Southern Ocean Islands.

March 2018 to April 2018.

Autumn sailing in Antarctica 24.03-20.04.2018 is a challenge itself. It's a bit dark and colder than usually. This will be a true adventure. The plan for this voyage is ascending Mt Francais (2760) one of the highest peaks on Antarctic Peninsula. For this journey we take only keen sailors, travelers, adventureres and mountaineers. We depart from Ushuaia in Argentina. First stage is sailing near Cape Horn and crossing Drake Passage. Then we will arrive to Palmer Archipelago where we divide our crew into 2 teams. When one team will be attempting to ascend Mount Francais, the others will enjoy the beauty of Antarctic wildlife. The activities will include trips to the mainland, spotting whales and seals, visiting penguin colonies, enjoying landscapes of snowy mountains and icebergs.

Selma Expeditions is currently based in Argentina
